Game cancelled due to snow

The SVRSS Tigers hockey team took a three game winning streak into this past weekend, but saw the streak come to an end. The weekend got off to a rocky start after their game in Dauphin on Saturday (Nov. 13), was postponed due to poor travel conditions. They did still manage to host the Virden Golden Bears on Sunday afternoon, however.
Golden Bears 4, Tigers 3
When Jack Mullin scored (assist going to Brady Burghart) at the mid point of the opening period, it certainly got the host Tigers off on the right foot.
Zayden Routledge scored an unassisted marker to tie the game for the visitors with just under four minutes to play in the opening period, sending the teams to the dressing rooms tied at 1-1.
Ryder Langevin scored just over three minutes into the second period to give the visitors their first lead in the game.
Not to be outdone, Bailey Hunt (assists to Nick Baskier and Sammy-Jo Moshenko) tied the game again scoring with just 55 seconds remaining in the second period. - again sending the teams to the dressing room tied heading into the final period.
Just two-and-a-half minutes into the final frame, the Golden Bears would regain the lead after Terrence Motheral-Crampain scored.
The Tigers never quit attitude was prevalent again after Tyler Fletcher (assist to Brittan Yaschyshyn) tied the game yet again, this time with just 5:04 left in the third period.
Routledge though would put a knife into the Tigers collective hearts, scoring the game winning goal with just under two minutes to play.
Tigers netminder Nate Immerkar stopped 27 shots in the contest. The Tigers were only handed two of the game’s nine minor penalties.
Tiger Tails
The Tigers record now sits at 3-5-0 ... They’ll return to action this coming weekend - with just a single game on the schedule however. They’ll make the trek south to Glenboro to battle the GBC Wildcats. Game time on Sunday goes at 2:30 p.m..
