The Parkland Bantam ‘AAA’ Rangers played their first of five games in Swan River this season this past Friday night (Nov. 15) at the Centennial Arena. Despite dropping an 8-4 score to the powerful Winnipeg Wild, the Rangers entertained an impressive crowd on hand for the contest. The Rangers boast six Valley area players including defencemen Jackson Badowski (13-1+3=4), Bo Eisner (14-2+5=7) and Andrew Pidskalny (14-0+6=6), along with forwards Brady Burghart (11-1+4=5), Domi Leask (14-7+8=15) and Will Munro (14-7+12=19). Leask scored the Rangers final goal of the game bringing his fan base to their feet in the contest. Munro added a pair of assists while Badowski chipped in with one assist. The Rangers did bounce back the following day in Roblin, beating the Interlake Lightning by a score of 7-3 to retain top spot in the Bantam AAA West standings with a 9-4-0-0 record.
